Is a PDO/PCL thread lift suitable for you?
Most clients can benefit from a PDO/PCL thread lift in combination with Dermal Fillers.
In some cases, a surgical facelift will be the only option. In the UK a surgical facelift can cost around £7,000 to £10,000. Dr Bassi will advise you at your consultation on which route to take.

What PDO-PCR thread are used?
We only use cog threads. These have microscopic barbs which, like fishhooks, that attach into the skin, to provide support and lift the saggy tissue. We use a range of threads of different thicknesses and length to achieve optimum results.
When will I see results?
Results are instant and get better over the next 6 to 12 weeks as collagen, elastic and hylauronic acid is stimulated and produced.
How long does a thread lift last?
Our extensive experience shows that PDO (polydioxanone) threads last 6 to 8 months. PCL (polycaproleactone) threads last 12 to 18 months.
Is it a painful procedure?
We use a local anaesthetic which dramatically reduces any discomfort from the procedure, clients inform us that it is a relatively comfortable procedure.
Are PDO/PCL thread lifts safe?
PDO threads have been used in heart surgery and PCL threads in orthopaedic surgery for many years and are completely safe.
Are there any side-effects?
You might experience some swelling and/or tenderness over the site, this usually settles within 2 to 3 weeks. Minor asymmetry post procedure.
