Who will perform my Dermal Fillers?
Dr S. Bassi, our highly experienced cosmetic physician, has 15 years aesthetic expertise, 30 years medical experience and has performed over 10,000 Dermal Filler treatments.
What product do you use for this treatment?
We use Hyalauronic based fillers. These are the gold standard.
Certain hyaluronic acid (a substance which naturally occurs in the body) based fillers are developed for the treatment of tear troughs because it causes less swelling which a bonus is when treating this delicate area.
What about the creepy skin under the eyes. can this be treated?
Yes, it can. By combining tear trough treatment with Mesotherapy or fractional laser treatment or plexr plasma therapy treatment for creepy skin of the eyes, the texture of the skin can be improved.
What are the advantages of this treatment?
It provides results and has minimal downtime of a few days.
It is a fraction of the cost of blephroplasty (up to £3000).
However, it should be noted at your consultation, your requirements and expectations will be discussed, and it may be that surgery may be the only treatment suitable for you!
Is tear trough treatment painful?
We make every effort to minimise any discomfort you may experience. Emla cream (a topical anaesthetic cream) is applied approximately 20 mins before treatment to the lower eyelid area. This numbs the skin and minimises any pain.
Dr Bassi uses a cannula for tear trough injections, this technique minimises bruising and gives a more comfortable experience.
