Skin boosters are now a big trend. Social media is buzzing about skin boosters, they are becoming a very popular way to improve the skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles – we have used them extensively. They provide a cost-effective alternative to treat tired, dull, lax, fine wrinkly, crepe skin. The overall result is a smoother complexion, firmer skin, and the glow that everybody is talking about.
There are many types on the market, we use Profhilo, Seventy Hyal, and Sukenos Performa. It can be confusing to know which one is the best for you, this is where we are here to help. Skin boosters contain hyaluronic acid in a formulation that gives intense internal moisturisation to the skin. They also promote collagen and elastin.

What is Profhilo?
This skin booster contains 64 mg per 2mls of hyaluronic acid and we recommend this product to the 30+ age group.
What is Seventy Hyal?
This skin booster contains 30 mg per 2 mls of hyaluronic acid and we recommend this product to the 20+ age group.
What is Sukenos Perfoma?
This skin booster has hyaluronic acid with a range of amino acids. We recommend this for the area around the eyes as it gives excellent results and improves the wrinkles and Minor eye bags.
Which skin booster is for me?
We will advise you which skin booster will be most beneficial for you. Obviously, the price ranges vary for each booster.
How often is the treatment required?
For Profhilo and Seventy Hyal we recommend two treatments spaced one month apart, then a treatment two months later.
For Sukenos Performa, we recommend four weekly treatments and we advise top-ups every 6 months to maintain the appearance.
Are there any side-effects?
They are very safe. Allergic reactions are very rare, but you may experience mild swelling which should settle within 48 hours.
You ay experience some bruising, which again should settle within 48 to 72 hours
